Here's the short version of why I created the AxCaddy®. But if you get me started, I could talk about it for hours!

The AxCaddy® was born out of a need to have a place to hang my guitar and to house all the accessories that go with it. There are many guitar wall hangers for sale online, but not one that had any storage or cool features. Basically they are all just hooks on a wall.

I wanted to make something that was functional, beautiful to look at and just plain cool. From the start, I wanted it to be Art. After all, your instrument is a work of Art. When you play, you create Art. Why shouldn't your Ax be displayed out in the open to see every day? I didn't like the thought of my Ax just sitting in its case, under the bed or tucked away in a closet. Even worse is one of those flimsy floor stands that always get knocked over.

I wanted to create something that displayed my Ax up in a safe place and yet was "in your face", so it would be a focal point in the room and would always be handy for a quick jam!

FAQ

The AxCaddy® was designed and refined to fit acoustic or electric guitars and basses. The AxCaddy® is also a great way to display your banjo or resonator guitar. We are currently developing a version for Ukes and Double Necks also.
The AxCaddy® comes with a mounting bracket. The bracket is attached to the wall with 4 toggle bolts. The bracket has a threaded bolt that comes through a hole in the cabinet area and is secured with a wing nut.  The back of the AxCaddy® has four rubber feet that keep it secured and steady. This allows for a firm mounting so you have no worries about it slipping or moving.
When you purchase an AxCaddy® you will get detailed printed instructions on mounting it to your wall. You will also receive a link to a tutorial video that will walk you through the mounting process for any wall type.
First off, each AxCaddy® has no less than 120 components that are all hand assembled to strict standards. Each individual AxCaddy® is shipped free within the continental US.

Finally, the AxCaddy® is a very cool and innovative product and was created for people who are extremely passionate about their art and their Ax! It may not be for everyone, but neither is a Ferrari.
Due to the design of the "back stage" area of the AxCaddy® some space of the cabinet could not be accessed directly. In an effort to include as many cool features as possible, the space at the top and bottom of the AxCaddy® was designed to house two Secret Boxes for you to use as secret stashes. (What you put in them is up to you?). The Top Secret Box is spring loaded and will pop up when pressure is applied. It snaps back down into place when you are finished with the box. The Bottom Secret Box is retained by a small dowel. When the dowel is pushed aside the box slides out. When finished with the box simply slide it back into place and move the dowel to secure it. Keep in mind, these are secret boxes, so don't tell anyone about them.
